Worship Updates

Wired Word

Even as more and more Americans are receiving the Covid-19 vaccinations, a percentage of the populace remains adamant that they will not take the vaccine. Is this a religious matter? Is it a question of trust? Our next class gives us an opportunity to think through the matter of vaccine hesitancy at a time when many of the previously unconvinced have changed their minds and gotten (or will get) the shots.

During this time of social distancing to control the spread of the virus, The Wired Word is including in the TWW student version the full lesson, with all the biblical commentary and additional discussion suggestions normally available only in the teacher’s version.

Go to our “Group Studies” page for details.

Sunday In-Person Worship:

We have resumed in-person worship and services will continue at 11 AM each Sunday until further notice. As before, we will observe all necessary and required safety precautions, including the 3 W’s (Wear, Wait, and Wash) and temperature checks.

If you are unable to attend the Sunday service in-person it will be live-streamed simultaneously on FaceBook.

It will also be posted to You-Tube by the following Monday. Please Take a Moment to Subscribe to Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
